About The Corvallis Workshops
This site is dedicated to the Corvallis Workshops which focuses on current research thrusts and future needs in cementitious materials. The first workshop in 2011 focused on expansive reactions in cement-based materials, the second workshop in 2014 covered topics related to innovative characterization techniques. In 2017 the third meeting focused on service-life prediction of concrete. In 2022 the workshop theme is “Concrete Fit for Purpose and Planet” – with a clear thrust to sustainable solutions that match the intended concrete performance, lifespan and environment.
